Massive Campus Expansion
Cornell undertook the North Campus Residential Expansion to accommodate growing enrollment. The two-phase, 776,000 SF project included new residence halls, dining, and community spaces. Phase 2 constructed three residence halls providing 1,200+ beds, part of a $272M+ investment completed spring 2022 — four months early despite COVID challenges, supply chain issues, and workforce constraints.
LRS maintained a consistent 5-month lead throughout Phase 2, delivering precision site prep, utilities, grading, drainage, and stormwater management for this LEED Gold project.
