Project Overview

Preserving Affordable Housing

In 2021, INHS acquired the 51-year-old Compass MHC (138 pads, ~90 households/200 residents) to preserve affordable housing in Trumansburg. INHS secured a $5.7M grant from NYS Homes and Community Renewal in 2023 for comprehensive upgrades addressing decades of deferred maintenance — improving infrastructure, safety, and quality of life while keeping rents affordable.
LRS provided critical site preparation, road widening, utilities upgrades, grading, drainage, and stormwater management for this nonprofit-led revitalization.
